T.K. Kameshwaran

Kameshwaran is a Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Western Thomson (India) Ltd and is overall responsible for Group companies. He is a founder Director of Nippon Thermostat India Ltd. His previous employment was Managing Director of SPIC Holdings and Investments Ltd. He worked in the SPIC Group for over 30 years and was involved in Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd (one of the largest producers of LAB in India) from 1985 to 1996, where he was made Managing Director. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Venkat Chidambaram

Venkat Chidambaram is a non- executive director on the board of Western Thomson (India) Ltd., Nippon Thermostat (India) Ltd. & Precialp Precision India Pvt. Ltd, representing the Chidambaram family interests in the companies. He is a Senior member of the Investment Team at Towry Law, a leading financial services firm in the UK. Previously he was Deputy Chief Investment Officer at TFO Management LLP and prior to that was Investment Director with GAM, a division of UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland) based in London, UK. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American Intercontinental University (AIU) in London and an MBA from Cass Business School, London. He served in the British Army Volunteer Reserve (TA) from 1993 to 1999.

S.Subramanian

S. Subramanian is the Group Chief Executive Officer and is a Director on the board of Western Thomson India. He has over 30 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Corporate planning, Systems, Project execution,and Business development background. Prior to joining us he has been in various senior positions in various companies including as Head of Business at Neel Industries (JBM Group), Unit Head at Motherson Automotive Technologies and as Head of Production and Industrial Engineering in Siemens VDO. He is a graduate in Engineering from Regional Engineering College (now known as NIT), Trichirappalli in the year 1978 and holds a Masters in Management from Poona University.

K.V. Ramanan

K.V. Ramanan joined as General Manager Group Operations in July 2009. He was previously with Wheels India Limited as Senior Manager Production Engineering and prior to that with Caterpillar India for 10 years and with Turbo Energy Limited (associated with Borg Warner) before that. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds a ME (Production Engineering) and a MBA (General Management). He has conducted several programs on Quality Systems. He has also been extensively trained in Japan on Quality Systems and with our collaborators, Western Thomson Plastics in the UK.
