Nippon Thermostat (I) Limited, was established in 1994 in Chennai, India, as a Joint Venture Company between Mr.V. Chidambaram as Promoter and Chairman, Nippon Thermostat Co.Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, and Maruti Suzuki India Limited India (MSIL),   to manufacture Thermostats and Sensor Water Temperature and supply to the 100% requirement of Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), a Suzuki Joint Venture to produce Motor Cars and Utility Vehicles in India.

Since then Nippon Thermostat (India) Ltd., is growing steadily as a manufacturer of Thermostats, Sensor Water Temperature and other related parts for the cooling system of Automobiles.

Our Company won the "Best Performing Vendor Award" in 1996–1997, in 2000-2001 and Outstanding Overall Performance & a Certificate of Appreciation for "Low PPM rejection of Incoming Supplies" for the year 2003-2004 and Vendor Performance Award for “Incoming Quality Improvement” for the year 2009 from Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL). The Company is accredited with ISO/TS 16949 Certification.
